Origami (in Japanese ori meaning “folding”, and kami meaning “paper”) is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, which started in the 17th century AD at the latest and was popularized outside Japan in the mid-1900s.

Origami is easy to learn and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. If you know basic techniques, you will be surprised to know that you can transform a simple piece of paper into almost anything.
